Yes, if the last patient was seen before September 13, 2005, studies must be registered before a manuscript is submitted and should be noted in the submission cover letter.

Like most medical journals, this journal employs an Embargo Policy system. The embargo period gives media personnel sufficient time to report accurately on complex and important new medical research findings, while preventing media reports from being widely disseminated (and, perhaps, prompting patient calls and questions) before AMHR subscribers have had sufficient time to read and understand full reports.

No. Presentations at scientific conferences will not jeopardize opportunities for publishing in AMHR.

Journalists can write about presentations at scientific conferences, and presenters may answer their questions while at or immediately following the meeting without jeopardizing opportunities for publishing in AMHR.

No. Authors are expected to refrain from discussing the submission of their manuscript(s) (or the intention to submit) to AMHR with anyone, including colleagues and journalists. The editors will also keep this information confidential. It is at the authors’ discretion if they wish to share publication dates confidentially with their press office so they may prepare.

Please send an email to the Editorial Office explaining the error and the Editorial Operations team will assist you. Do not create another submission, or resubmit the full manuscript by email, unless specifically asked to do so.
